journal 26 Opera House

Monday July 14

We all returned to our bases safe from the 3-day-2-night Sydney trip from July 12th to 14th.
We enjoyed it so much in Sydney that we really wanted to stay longer, even one day longer!
At the first day, we went to Blue Mountain. It looks magnificent and has formed through 650,000,000 years.we cried out and laughed out loud riding in the cable car and steepest train. At the second day, we saw wild dolphines in the cruise and then at night, went to Opera House. It was so beautiful that we walked around it all night and took hundreds of photos. At the last day, we could eat one of the most romantic and delicious lunch in the Sydney Majestic Cruise, appreciating the beauty of the city. We now realised why Sydney is called the third most beautiful port in the world.

It is the unforgettable trip for all of us!

journal 24 Springbrook Rainforest Journey

Saturday July 5

So exhausted, writing just a few words. Class 2 have been to springbrook rainforest which is among world natural heritages.  The Unforgettable journey , I'm sure.
1. In a rainforest, thousands of big tree are now dying, at the same time,  strangling vines are now prospering.
2. The gum tree pills  off its  barks by itself every year.
3. Gallary walk is way better than we expected. We bought wonderful souvernirs: boomerang, magnets, miniatures.
4. Baramundi is really  delicious.

Friday  July 4

VICKI is one of  the most  attractive  teachers  in this ICTE. She has been conducting the choir of ICTE. And  in this afternoon they had a performance in the Queen street mall and  made it wonderfully. In the first class she taught us how to improve English pronunciation through singing  songs: halleluiah and keep  hanging on. She looked very passionate and lovely. I could get a big positive energy  from her.

journal 21.first dinner with a homestay family

 Saturday June 28
The first cultural shock was that Joshua, the twenty year old son of homestay family's, cooked Vietnamese rice roll at dinner and it was  really  delicious. His mom, Shidan, told us it was his turn to cook dinner and we obey Joshua, master chef's instructions. He was kind and good at cook. How kind, considerate and independent he  looks!
